A trip to the wine center of the province, passing through Quebrada de las Conchas, which separates the Lerma Valley from the Calchaquí Valley. Eolian erosion has formed a series of natural wonders like the Devil's Throat, a deep and narrow canyon, or the Amphitheater (with perfect natural acoustics), The Frog, The Friar, The Obelisk, and The Castles.
Slowly, the arid landscape transforms into vast areas of vineyards, leading to one of the most notable regions within the Calchaquí Valleys: Cafayate, a village with colonial and baroque-style houses dating from the late 19th century.

TOUR CACHI

Leaving behind the fertile Lerma Valley, ascend through Quebrada de Escoipe, then continue through the impressive Cuesta del Obispo and Valle Encantado, surrounded by mountains. After passing Piedra del Molino (3,400 m above sea level), enter Los Cardones National Park.
The magical village of Cachi, located at the foot of the snow-capped peak of the same name (6,320 m above sea level), is known for its colonial-style facades, with mansions settled on narrow, cobbled streets.

QUEBRADA DE HUMAHUACA

A visit to the destination designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, crossing the namesake gorge, discovering exceptional landscapes, villages, and cultures. Unique villages like Purmamarca, famous for the backdrop of the Hill of Seven Colors, Maimará, with colorful slopes called "Painter’s Palette," and Tilcara, known for its partially restored Pucará (fortress).
Uquía shows its chapel, built in the 17th century with gold-leaf work. Humahuaca, the largest town, gives its name to the gorge and is the highest point of the route, at 2,940 meters above sea level.
Main attractions: Monument to Independence, Cathedral Church, and Municipal Building.
Route: Salta, Güemes by highway, San Salvador de Jujuy, Quebrada de Humahuaca: Volcán (technical stop), Tumbaya, Purmamarca (Hill of Seven Colors), Maimará (Painter’s Palette), Tilcara, Huacalera (Tropic of Capricorn), Uquía, and 2 hours of free time in Humahuaca (Monument to Independence).

TRAIN TO THE CLOUDS

The high-altitude train rises to 4,200 meters, one of the three highest trains in the world, crossing vertiginous Andes mountains amidst breathtaking natural landscapes.
The magical Train to the Clouds experience begins with a departure from Salta in state-of-the-art vehicles with heating and air conditioning at 7:00 hrs, passing through the towns of Campo Quijano, Gobernador Solá, El Alfarcito, and Santa Rosa de Tastil. After enjoying the beautiful landscape, we’ll have a delicious countryside breakfast (included) before continuing on to Quebrada de las Cuevas, the Muñano plain, and arriving at the picturesque town of San Antonio de los Cobres, in the heart of the Salta puna.
At 11:45 hrs, board the iconic Train to the Clouds and ascend through the Andes foothills to the must-see La Polvorilla Viaduct at 4,220 meters. Here, close to the sky, you’ll capture unforgettable photos, making this journey a unique memory. Later, we’ll return by train to San Antonio de los Cobres, where you can explore this emblematic and picturesque Salta town and have lunch (lunch not included).
After 15:00 hrs, we’ll return to Salta. Arrival in Salta at 20:30 hrs.
This excursion is considered high-altitude, so it could be canceled due to adverse weather conditions for safety.
